Principles for the Reporting of Arrears, Arrangements and Defaults at Credit Reference Agencies

Credit Reference Agencies (Callcredit, Experian and Equifax) hold databases of debts and payments on products offered to consumers and businesses that relate to financial commitments. How CRAs operate is agreed with the ICO and the purpose of this document is to set out the principles under which information about arrears, arrangements and defaults are filed with the CRAs.
